Z is a Haitian American artist, writer, director, voice actor, creator of the award winning and NAACP Nominated Short Film “Captain Zero: Into the Abyss Part II” and CEO of Cutting Edge Animation. As a suicide survivor, Z has made it their life's work to use art to empower other underrepresented and creative voices in the world of animation by creating animated stories that defy viewers' expectations through forward-thinking and innovative storytelling.

Andre is a Filipino American writer, director, producer, and co-writer/director on Captain Zero, and Vice President of Cutting Edge Animation. Andre was nominated for an NAACP Image Award for production on “Captain Zero: Into The Abyss Part II” and has been working alongside Z Cher-Aimé for over a decade. His love for film, prestige television, and video games, has helped shape his taste and artistic style for Cutting Edge Animation’s projects. Andre aims to build narratives that inspire the younger generation and use stories to fill them with optimism and confidence.

Project Manager/Executive Producer

Kathy Cher-Aime is a Haitian-American Project Manager who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management, Business Operations, Entrepreneurship, and Human Resources. Leveraging a sharp eye for detail and exceptional communication skills, she expertly guides cross-functional initiatives for Cutting Edge Animation from concept to successful completion.

Whoopi Goldberg is an iconic American actor, comedian, author, and television host. She is one of the few elite entertainers to achieve an EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony) and is widely known for her roles in Sister Act, Ghost, Lion King, and as one of the moderator of The View.

Tom is producing partner and Head of Development. Together they are currently at various stages of production and development on projects across many entertainment mediums. Leonardis was a Tony-nominated producer of Whoopi… The 20th Anniversary; he also co-produced the Tony Award-winning hit Broadway musical Thoroughly Modern Millie.

Chris is an Atlanta-born NAACP Image Award nominated producer and award-winning photographer with a passion for storytelling that reflects and uplifts underrepresented voices. A proud graduate of Morehouse College, he currently serves as a producer and Chief Operating Officer at Cutting Edge Animation where he oversees day-to-day operational tasks for the company.

Datalion is a North-Carolina born NAACP Image Award nominated producer and Chief Financial Officer of Cutting Edge Animation. He helps manage financial risks, tracks cash flow, assembles build budgets, and helps guide the long-term business strategy.

Queen is a multi-hyphanate artist, painter, producer and art therapist. She serves as the Chief Marketing Officer of Cutting Edge Animation utilizing her experience in graphic design, marketing, and art therapy to uplift the struggles of mental health issues amongst BIPOC underserved communities.

James is a multidisciplinary artist, content creator, director, producer, and pop-culture aficionado setting his sights on creating thought-provoking, meaningful work in the realm of film & television. As Chief Strategy Officer he oversees strategic partnerships with actors, producers, and financiers to facilitate meaning connection for Cutting Edge Animation Projects. His combined passion for comic books, blerd culture, and social justice have recently come together to form Blerd Hive: a comic-con panel series and creators collective focused on consolidating the marketing power of underserved creators and communities.

Keith David is an acclaimed American actor, singer, and three-time Emmy Award-winning voice actor. Famed for his deep, commanding voice and powerful screen presence, he is a Juilliard graduate with extensive credits in film, television, stage, and video games.

Angelica is an American actress, businesswoman, and transgender rights advocate. She is best known for her starring roles in the FX drama series Pose and the horror anthology series American Horror Story, as well as making history as the first openly transgender woman to play a leading role on Broadway.

Zolee Griggs is an actress known for her work across film and television, with a passion for bringing bold, funny, and authentic characters to life. She starred as Shurrie Diggs in Hulu’s acclaimed series Wu-Tang: An American Saga and appeared alongside Antonio Banderas in the feature film The Enforcer. Her additional credits include HBO’s Ballers, Money Talk$, and Elsbeth. Beyond acting, Zolee is a storyteller and creative who continues to explore the intersection of entertainment, culture, comedy, and music through both her on-screen work and original projects.
