Cinematography for Actors (CFA) empowers filmmakers, actors, and creatives through hands-on education, mentorship, and community-driven programs. We produce workshops, networking events, podcasts, and educational content while partnering with leading filmmakers and industry companies to make professional knowledge more accessible. Through initiatives like the League of Filmmakers, CFA Institute, and our fiscal sponsorship program, we help creatives learn, connect, fund, and bring their stories to life.

Founded in Los Angeles, Cinematography for Actors (CFA) was created to break down barriers to the film industry by making high-quality education, mentorship, and professional connections accessible to emerging filmmakers and actors. What began as a grassroots community has grown into a nonprofit organization supporting thousands of creatives through workshops, networking events, podcasts, online publications, fiscal sponsorship, and year-round educational programming.

Today, CFA serves a global filmmaking community through both in-person and virtual initiatives.
