STOP DOWN PRODUCTIONS, INC.
Organization
OVERVIEW
We at Stop Down Productions have built an incredible slate of films that embody the rare combination of being able to challenge viewers thematically, affect them visually and creatively, and still remain commercially viable and appealing. Our current slate is Little Furies, The Relentless Disappointment of Richard Boot, The Collective, and O Father, all of which are in different stages of development and pre-production.
ORGANIZATION MISSION AND VISION
Stop Down Productions, Inc. exists to honor the reason we all became storytellers in the first place: not for money, fame, or clout, but because we are all living the human experience and have found that the moving image is the language through which we best connect with one another. The company champions diversity both behind and in front of the camera, bringing underserved perspectives to the forefront and often leaning into the narratives of the marginalized and the overlooked. Stop Down believes the world needs these stories, and that the work is what saves us.
Two tenets guide everything the company does: Fearlessness and Love. Stop Down doesn’t set out to tell the stories no one else will; it sets out to tell the stories it needs to tell. It has no interest in being performative or proving how indie or edgy it can be. It simply strives to be truthful. And for Stop Down, everything begins with love. Love is why the company exists, why it does this work, and what continues to define it. These two tenets will always shape its mission and vision.

Meet The CEO
Eric Wang Schwager
Eric Wang Schwager created Stop Down Productions, Inc. to tell stories that grapple with themes of systemic disadvantage and exclusion.
